Walkthrough of the “My Account” Section

This guide will walk you through various options you have under ‘My Account’, including adjusting your profile settings, viewing certificates, managing your email notifications, billing details, and how to log out.

My Courses

This option gives you an overview of the courses you’ve enrolled in. Simply click on the first link to view all your courses.

Profile

Under ‘Profile’, you can:

  1. Set or change your display name
  2. Update your profile image
  3. Change your email address and password
  4. Access password resetting settings

Certificates

Clicking on ‘Certificates’ will show you an overview of the certificates that you’ve obtained on our platform. You can view each certificate, and they are also verifiable externally.

To verify a certificate:

  1. Copy the Certificate ID
  2. Navigate to our homepage
  3. Paste the Certificate ID in the appropriate field and click ‘Verify’
  4. This opens a new tab with the certificate link that you can share with others who wish to verify your certificate

Email Notifications

Under this section, you can manage the types of notifications you receive. You can set preferences for receiving emails when someone replies to your discussions in the community or mentions your posts.

Billing

We’ve recently switched our billing provider from Stripe to FastSpring. Depending on when your subscription was created, you’ll need to click the relevant button:

  • For subscriptions created prior to March 17th, 2023, click on ‘Stripe’.
  • For subscriptions created on or after March 17th, 2023, click on ‘FastSpring’.

After clicking the relevant button, enter your email address (the one used to register for your account) and you’ll receive an email with further instructions on how to access the billing page.

If you don’t receive an email immediately, there might be a technical restriction in the URL bar. If this occurs, remove the slug from the URL, reload the page, and try again. If the URL is as highlighted in the browser, you should have no issues. Please wait for 3-5 minutes for the email to come through, and also check your spam and junk folders.

Sign Out

You can log out of your account anytime by clicking ‘Sign Out’ at the bottom of the page. This ensures you’re safely logged out of your student profile.
